From the time I called to make the appointment to the completion of the project, Plano Overhead Garage Door Exceeded my expectations! The appointment was scheduled for the following day, Reese, my technician, called ahead to let me know he was on the way. He gave us a fair price and performed the work flawlessly. 5 star to this company for a Job Well Done. I will recommend Plano Overhead Garage Doors without reservations.

Recently our garage door (still the original from the when the house was built) bound up during operation and began warping and pulling apart. We suspected the door was beyond repair, and we had used Plano Overhead Garage Doors in the past for a repair and were very pleased with their price, service, and professionalism, so after a brief check on Google and Angie's List, we contacted them to come take a look at the situation with our door and offer a free estimate. Not surprisingly, Robert, the technician who arrived that same afternoon, recommended we replace the door, showing us all the defects in the current door. He explained our options without ever pressuring us to make the purchase or buy a more expensive model than we wanted.

Robert arrived back the very next morning to install our new insulated, double wall door. We were very impressed with both his professionalism and competency. He was very conscientious and respectful, careful to see that the door was leveled, covered the opening completely (our doorway is not entirely "square") and operated smoothly. He also cleaned everything up and hauled the remains of the old door away. Amazingly, he completed the entire process in only a bit over two hours! Going forward, we also have the peace of mind of a lifetime warranty on the door (5 years on the weather seal) along with a 1-year warranty on labor.

We are elated with the results and highly recommend this business!

Reese and the guys at Plano Overhead Door were great. I left a message after ours one evening; he returned my call later that evening and scheduled a time to come out the next morning that worked with my schedule. He arrived on time, quickly made an assessment and then was able replace the existing door in the same day! Very pleased.

We recently had a 'Carriage House' style garage door installed by Plano Overhead Garage Door and are completely thrilled with the outcome.



We chose the insulated version in a wood stained look, with four windows. We also elected to have the nylon rollers put in, along with a new garage door opener.



The overall effect is dramatic.



It totally changed the appearance of our home, plus the garage is bright now with light coming in the windows. It is SUPER quiet when opening & closing and I am sure we will be noticing the garage itself stays cooler or warmer depending on the season, because of the insulation and weather stripping.



We have had so many neighbors comment about how great it looks. Our mailman even stopped by to tell us that too!



The installation reps (Reese & Paul) were extremely professional, very knowledgeable, and cleaned up the entire site after finishing their jobs.

I have used this company since 2002. They have always been professional, prompt and have competitive prices. Today I had my double garage door replaced due to damage from a truck. My garage door was struggling to open and close properly. I called Plano Overhead on Saturday and had my appointment scheduled for Monday. Reese, the technician, immediately spotted the broken spring and quickly replaced both of the springs. Reese also suggested and replaced the rollers with silicon rollers. Now, my garage opens and closes very quietly and without issue. Reese even replaced the two light bulbs in the unit. Great service and great people!

During the testing stage we also discovered that the motor had a bad sensor. I was quoted and charged a very fair price to fix the part--with no pressure sales. I wish I had taken before and after pictures to share because Will and his company completed the near impossible. My 14 year old door is working like new again.

We called Plano Overhead Garage Door after our door opener broke early one morning. The technician, Kane, came out before lunch and after he explained our multiple options and prices, we elected to go with a completely new motor and lift system. In less than 90 minutes, he completely changed out our system, reprogrammed three vehicles and the electric fence gate, and explained all the features of our new system. He even went the extra step, unsolicited, to tidy up the unsightly way the wiring came from the house to the motor unit, something that has bugged me for 14 years. With a silent new unit and multiple useful features (motion detecting lights!), we feel that we got a quality upgrade and at a really great price. The technician arrived on time and was very courteous. He explained all available options after looking at our old garage door opener.
