After 10 years of getting good haircuts with Okie (Okie Dokie), on February I decided to trust her very insisting suggestion of doing the Japanese Straightening with her. For months she told me it would look great, "just wash and go". Biggest mistake.



She ruined my hair completely. It is burnt from about half an inch from the crown. I have spent over $1000 in treatments, and a good wig, because there is no way I can wear it loose. I can only wear french braids or buns.



In good faith I sent Okie my receipts hoping to get her to help with the new expenses she caused my family, but she denied any responsibility and refused to pay.



She claims my hair was weak (it was not), that I did not follow her instructions, and that she has no responsibility over what happened to me.... this after she said sorry when she saw me 3 days later, returned my money, apologized to my husband by text, offered more services to try to fix.... and now she says it is not her fault.



I am very sad about my hair and her reaction. I thought I knew her, and I expected a more honest response from her.
