My wife and I had been debating adopting a fourth fur baby but made up our minds when we saw Madonna (now Phoebe) on the Second Chance website. She is the third dog we've adopted over the years from this shelter and each experience has been wonderful. We got to spend some time in their yard with Phoebe and then arranged a meeting with two of our dogs. Kendel spent a lot of time with us and the dogs, monitoring behaviors and helping us to ensure the dogs were a good match. They were, and now Phoebe is a great member of our pack. We appreciate the efforts Second Chance makes on behalf of both the animals and the adoptees to make sure it is a good adoption for all.
