Im not sure anyone else is going to see this.

Let me just get started.

Im a 21 year old High Functioning Autistic Bipolar.

I went to DARS thinking they would find me a job within a month.I was wrong. It has taken them 6 months. Now i am finally going on interviews.

See the entire past 6 months. Since i am new with them.They have been evaluating me and testing my capabilities/limits.Making sure i would be eligible. They dont want to send someone out not knowing if they are an investment. So i want to tell you all. Its going to take a while until they actually start sending you to job interviews ect. They fell 2 months behind on me because they moved offices at christmas.

Anyway. However much this seems bad. They did alot for me. I was undiagnosed with ASD for the past 20 years. Because they sent me to a Neurospychologist. They did alot of tests.. And Because of this Autism Diagnosis.. DARS has helped me more than any other doctor//Or Psych Hospital/Or therapist ive ever been to.

This past 6 months was well worth the wait because now i know more about myself than i ever have. I truly feel amazing.I can now help myself. I now know why im different.



Anyway. They take you on interviews. Fill out your applications. Make sure your not discriminated. After those 6 months youll be sure you are protected.



So if finding a job is a pain for you. If you dont do drugs. If you just want a Guaranteed job. At walmart...Bestbuy..Bus boy resturaunt. Ect.

I Strongly recommend going to DARS!

You wont regret it!! Just expect 4-5 months until you can actually get a job. :) Then the next time you need another job. Will only take 1 month ;)
