Provided by YP.comThis doctor and staff have treated me very well. I was very lost after a head injury and had multiple problems that were incorrectly diagnosed or just not treated by other places. Head injury patients get shuffled around the system in a very poor fashion because when your brain doesn't work you cannot figure out what to do or where to go or how to get help and find things. I have been through many things after my injury and do not believe I would be alive today without the help of this doctor and her staff.
One thing that I think I have noticed is that she expects you to try and improve and take care of your health better and if you are trying more it seems she will focus more energy into helping you improve all aspects of your health. She helped me find other specialists who can help with more specifics of my condition such as a cognitive rehab therapist and sleep study etc as well as providing her own treatment. She also previously fixed a stomach issue that had eluded one of the major hospitals and a doctor rated as best in Dallas by Observer Magazine.
Excellent doctor the only catch is that I think she puts more effort into the patients that put more effort into themselves so expect to be serious about your health.

Provided by YP.comHe gets NO stars here! I had been going to Dr. Tigges for over 10 years when I got sick and had to bring my sick two-year-old with me to an appointment. During the appointment, my son was babbling loudly, and the "kind" doctor told me I needed to, and I quote "shut him the hell up!" I was shocked. He left the room before helping me with my complaint. I immediately requested to speak with the office manager. I then reported him to the Texas Medical Board. In additon to that comment, he also told me I should give my son a spanking to get him be quiet. SHOCKING BEHAVIOR from a man who has taken the Hippocratic Oath to "do no harm." I was in tears and so was my son. Beyond horrifying experience! This was a doctor whom I had previously trusted for many years. He showed his true colors loud and clear that day.
To clarify, this is posted under "Dr. Massar" but is a comment regarding care from Dr. Gary Tigges, not Dr. Massar (who is a female and in the same office). Thanks.
