Little music store that could...

Open for less than a year, Texas Music Lab already feels like a fixture of the neighborhood. It's as though it were always here, and always should be. This is due in no small part to owners Jack and Joyce Buras. They imbue their business with a comfortable easy warmth rarely experienced these days.

Jack's all about the music. Classicly trained, with years of experience, and the patience of Job, Jack shares his knowledge with all comers. He offers reasonably priced lessons. Repair and maintainence is available. And if Jack can't do it there in the store, he knows where to get it done. I'm pretty sure Jack loves what he does, because he seems to be the happiest person I know.

Joyce is all about the business...and keeping Jack on track.

When I was looking for a guitar I stopped by Texas Music Lab just to check it out. I wanted to use it as a comparison for my inevitable trip to Guitar City. Within 20 minutes Joyce had me into the perfect guitar for what I needed and set up with my first lesson. All for less than what I had anticipated. Why go anywhere else?

If you're looking for a string instrument check out Texas Music Lab. They also have a selection of percussion and wind instuments as well as musical accoutrement and peripheral equipment. If you're looking for guitar lessons check out Texas Music Lab. If you are a musician (or want to be) check out Texas Music Lab. If you want to meet some super nice people stop by and say "hey" to Jack and Joyce at Texas Music Lab.
