Need Better Business Practices

I have first-hand experience with this company. Although they are providing a much-needed service for prson inmates and their families, they are irresponsible, frequently, with the paying customers' money, losing payments and taking weeks to resolve it, blaming it on the post office, etc. As soon as a person can get proof the money order was cashed, all of a sudden they have it recorded. This practice causes families not to get to talk with their loved one for weeks sometimes. They also charge ridiculous surcharge fees just to record a payment. Some of the accounts cannot pay over the phone, but only send postal money orders, certified checks and money grams, that all cost more money. Their regular inmate accounts are called "collect call" accounts even though they are prepaid and an inmate cannot continue to make calls if the funds run out.

It's only been recently that a customer could even get any kind of payment history or phone call history. They seem to be slowly making improvements, but they definately need a much better system for being accountable in recording customer payments.
