My experience with A Stepping Stone came with the top customer service and overall excellent results! My wife and I have two young children and our AC went out late one evening. I called A Stepping Stone and they had someone out there exactly at the time they said someone would be. They had a highly rated and affordable part in stock and my AC unit was back up and running right away. They also inspected the entire unit, went above and beyond to provide some TLC tips for my unit to keep in running, and even followed up a few days later to ensure everything was still working properly.



I will be calling them again in the future should I have any further issues and I recommend them to anyone who needs AC or Heating services. When something as important as your AC goes out on your entire family, it should be handled with the urgency and care as they demonstrated.

This is the 2nd time I use A Stepping Stone. Both times they have come unprepared to my house. Very bad customer service, the technician tells you one thing and the office tells you another. First time I used them was about 5 years back, they came, did a temporary fix and told me that another part was needed. I called a few days later and they sent another technician that told me they can't repair the part needed but also he did not have it in his truck so they'll have to come back again once they have the part. On top of that they wanted a lot of money and charge me once again for coming out. So I called another company and they repaired the old part that "could not be repaired" and that repair lasted 5 years. The company I had used before did not survive the economy crash so I decided to give A Stepping Stone another chance. Called them a few months back, the technician came to my house replaced some miscellaneous parts and noticed the part that was repaired by the other company. He said that it was failing and most likely would go out soon. Soon turned out to be next day, so I call them again and I could not believe that they came to my house, once again WITHOUT that part. Needless to say, their technician did not repair my unit and tried to charge me for the visit. How many times they are going to come to my house to tell me the same thing and charge me for it???? In the meantime we are calling the office and they are telling us that the technician will go back to the shop, get the right part and come back (this is at 5pm on a Friday). They said that the part only was going to be $600. We agreed because we had out of town visitors coming next day. Right after my husband hangs up the phone the tech's phone rings, I'm standing right there and they are telling him that no one is going to open the warehouse for him. WHAT???? So I called another company next morning and after a short conversation, they asked us a few questions, came in with the part needed so I was expecting to have a huge bill since according to A Stepping Stone the part only was $600. My bill from this other company was less than $500 (that is parts and labor included ON A SATURDAY).
