Our two Portuguese Water Dogs hate to leave home and spend the night elsewhere. They surely do think that Home Sweet Home is their favorite place. When we travel, they are always happy at Sundance Kennel. We noticed immediately that the front desk was well staffed, so we don't have to wait to check in with two 65 lb. dogs on a lease. Sundance is clean and run by professionals. They always check to ensure that our dogs' vet records and shots are in order. Other kennels in the area did not check, so we never knew what problems might be lurking. One nearby kennel even told us we could enter to gather our dogs to take them home through unlocked gates and doors. It made us wonder if they would actually still be there when we returned. A newer kennel in town left us waiting for 25 minutes once when we were checking in, and we wondered if we were going to miss our plane. They also closed their adjoining vet office certain days, making is necessary to make an appointment to pick them up those days, which meant we had to pay for that special privilage. We tried them all, and Sundance always comes out on top! We know the brown boys are happy there, and have plenty of room to run and get lots of exercise, thus making their visit more like camp and less like being penned up! So - thank you Sundance - for being there for us!
