Great if you have a perfect driving record! But as soon as you have anything on your licence he cannot get you off. This is not the sign of a good attorney. In fact not only did I have to pay the ticket plus court fees I also got points!

So i actually lost money using an attorney! Go figure

James Babkes was hired to fight my speeding ticket in court. The ticket was originally for $294, after the court date I received a letter stating that I am being assessed court costs in the amount of $329. For all his expertise and experience he was able to increase my fine by $35, not to mention the attorney fee he charges. I have to wonder if he even went to court at all or if he just sent one of his interns while he sat back and counted his money. Epic fail!

always used this firm for my tickets because a friend referred me.



Then recently, I received a letter from the collections law firm representing Broward County informing me my license was being suspended for traffic tickets from two years ago. It was a ticket that James Babkes had fought for me but never communicated with me that I owed court fees from the case. They said they sent me a letter to my address, but I had moved. They never gave a phone call or email to inform me, and now I owe over $90 in late fees. They had told me the tickets would be dismissed easily, so I didn't think it would be a big deal. But, instead of making sure I knew there was court fees, they sent out a letter to a dated address and let me figure it out a year later.



I have gone to them for multiple tickets and violations and I'm just surprised when I called them, they just defended themselves. There was ZERO customer service, offer to help with any of my late fees, or even apology for their oversight in not advising me of the fees.



Customer service is obviously not a very important part of their business model. When I called to tell them I would write a bad review, they said, "okay, also write that you refused to notify us of your address change."

My case was handled very well and I didnt even have to attend court. It was an easy process and I am happy for the time and effort put forward.
