My first visit to this office was my last. I had to find a dentist for my child's first visit and since she has a different insurance than I do, I couldn't take her to mine. To start, our appointment was for 3:30 and the receptionist told me to get there early to do paperwork. No problem, got there at 3:15. Waited over an hour to be called in to a room, where we continued to wait for someone to come see her. Finally got x-rays done...waited another 20 minuted for them to come back. By about 5:15, they were ready to do her cleaning and told me that I couldn't be in the room with my 6 year old minor child. I think not! Her first time getting teeth cleaned, my first time at this office and told me it was a HIPPA violation. I refused and was ready to walk out because never would I leave my minor child unattended especially where I don't know them (and I doubt it's a violation of any sort for me to be in the room with my 6 year old). So we waited another 15 minutes while the hygenist said let her check with her boss if I could stay in the room. Then sent in a different hygenist to come in and do the cleaning which took 5 minutes. The staff (with the exeption of the receptionist) was very unprofessional, the equipment is severely outdated, and I would never go back and waste 2.75 hours of my time for a simple cleaning!
