"Kim Nickelson, M.D., FACP, is board-certified in internal medicine. At Conviva Pine Island, she leads a team of compassionate, patient-focused health care professionals with a dedication to medical excellence. Dr. Nickelson completed a residency at Lutheran General in Park Ridge, Illinois. She earned her medical degree from Loyola Stritch School of Medicine in Maywood, Illinois. She received a Bachelor of Science in chemistry curriculum from the University of Illinois in Urbana, Illinois. Dr. is affiliated with Westside Regional Medical Center, and she is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. Dr. Nickelson has been recognized through the NCQA’s Diabetes Recognition Program (DRP). Clinicians who achieve DRP Recognition show their peers, patients and others in the Diabetes community that they are part of an elite group that is publicly recognized for its skill in providing the highest-level diabetes care.
