Making an appointment was not difficult, and my doctor was nice enough, but if you have a question and try to call for an answer think again. I called their office at 8:50 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 2:00 p.m., and 4:50 p.m. each time I got the same response, "no one is available to talk to right now, but we will have them call you back as soon as possible." No one called me back no one talked to me. So unless you are willing to schedule an appointment just to ask a question about a prescription this office doesn't have time for you.

The billing department is absolutely stupid. Tried to bill me several times for things I didn't owe. & couldn't figure out how to bill my insurance, I have 2 different insurances. I would absolutely never go there for this reason alone.. but there are many other reasons I wouldn't go.

I (Matthew's wife is writing this) had a horrible experience here. I would never go here again and would discourage any friend or foe from going here. The worst first...while in labor, I had horrible care, there was no midwife during labor. She came and went the whole time...maybe saw her for 15 unhelpful minutes total. The hospital was understaffed, so I also had no nurse...when the nurse tried to find my midwife, she was nowhere to be found and never accounted for her absence. The lesser of two evils...The paperwork was very disorganized. When I had to have tests done, the paperwork was sent to the wrong file. Towards the end of pregnancy, during visits or when I called for a question, it would take at least 15 for them to round up all my paperwork so they could see the whole picture because things were misplaced and misfiled. It was a nightmare. Additionally...Some of the advice I received seemed to be in favor of the midwives' reputation and stats rather than in the interest if my baby. And there was noticeable tension between the midwives and the doctors; I also believe some of the bad advice I received originated from the midwives making anti-MD decisions at the sacrifice of my baby's well-being. A doctor from the clinic ended up being the person to actually deliver my baby. He saved my baby's life.

I have had 2 babies with this facility. The first time was with the Doctor. I was not listened to when the time came to deliver the baby and there was not even a nurse in the room when my baby's head crowned. The second baby I had there, I used the midwives. At my 40 week visit, I was left on the exam table undressed for 45 minutes waiting for the midwife. Finally, I got dressed and walked out into the hallway only to find that she had gone to lunch. For some crazy reason, I tried to go there again. I am 22 weeks pregnant now. I am paying for most of my care out of pocket and they don't take anytime with me. Today, my appt with the midwife was at 11:00 am and I didn't even see her until 12:15. When she came into my room, she was on her cellphone with a personal call and didn't even let me ask any questions or talk to me about anything. It was pretty much a worthless visit!I am done with this clinic. I'm going to a private birthing center.

I love, love, love the Certified Nurse Midwives here! They are all very knowledgeable and patient and they treat you like you're the only patient in the world at each visit. They take time to answer questions and I think they really understand and have more compassion than some male Dr would (no offense). I was seeing a male Dr in Springville with my first pregnancy. When I told him that I wanted to have a natural childbirth, he looked right at me and said "I hate natural. I won't do it. I used to have a sign in my office that said I wouldn't accept "natural" patients." I couldn't believe it! I thought, why does he care? I'll be doing all of the work! So at 7 !/2 months pregnant, I switched to midwives! Kathryn at MTWHC has delivered all three of my babies and is so willing and helpful to let me labor and deliver how I please (with or withoutan epidural! LOL!). I love this place and I recommend it to everyone. I've also been seen for ovarian cysts and other hormonal problems and the mi

I would not recommend this place. My water broke and instead to hospitalize me, they send me home and forgot about me....then they called 2 months later to ask if I have had the baby.

I have used the Doctors in conjunction with the midwifes for two of my pregnancies--one of which I had twins. The nurses are really sweet and the doctors really listen to you. Dr. Saunders performed my tubal when I was finished having children (7) and took the time to listen and I felt really cared about. I would recommend them to anyone. Dr. Saunders will be performing a hysterectomy for me next month and I feel very confident in his abilities.
