My wife has been using Rich’s Dry cleaning services for several years.

It was very convenient and fast service.

Recently she sent a brand name new 100% silk dress (retails for about $500 that she bought online).

Dress was brand new. It was sent to dry clean to get rid of wrinkles from shipping.

Instructions on the dress said “dry clean only”.

Dress was brought back next day, sleeve was completely burned.

Rich came next day, took dress back, then called back and said that it was manufacture problem, not dry cleaner fault. But to “our favor”, he said that he has a person that guarantees to fix the sleeve. We agreed. He brought dress back in a several days confirming with my wife over the phone that dress is fixed and looks perfect now. The sleeve was still completely damaged. I attached pictures for your review.

When I called Rich, he rudely confirmed to me again that it is manufacture problem, not dry cleaning, and refused to deal with it further. No compensation was offered. He even sent a bill that included $14 for this dress cleaning.

If you have clothes that are valuable and would prefer someone to address problems appropriately, I would not recommend using Rich Dry Cleaning.
