Had a great experience with this shop. My husband had been having some trouble with the brakes on our Explorer. The staff was very helpfull and did a great job of fully explaining everything to us. Pricing was fair and I didn't feel like they were being pushy about getting additional work done, Will definitely use them again in the future.

Pleasant Hill isn't normally the first place I think of when I'm shopping, running errands,ect...but...next time I need my car worked on,I'm going back to Honest 1 in P.Hill !!! The staff was friendly and helpful, they took the time to explain things in a way that even I could understand. If you knew me,you would realize how amazing that is! And I adore thier "shop dog",a playful basset hound(can't remember his name). I'll remember Tony's name though,he's MY mechanic from now on.

I would not take my car into this shop for any reason...including just to get air! Walked in nearly stepped on Dog Dung, beer bottles were seen in trash, the manager, I think his name was Tony somethng or other (never spoke english very well) seemed to be on some sort of Illigal substances. I even had an ex-employee tell me they would break parts just to gain more money from customers! Consumer be WARE!!! This is not honest atuo!

I will never go back nor would I recommend this place to anyone. I booked an 8:00 appointment for Saturday morning for just an oil changed. Brought my car early, got it in--not a problem. They said they would give me a call soon when it is done and it should not take long. I did not hear anything until noon so I called and they said they were just getting my car in and it would take an 1.5 hours. Went around 1:45 to pick it up but only to find my car in the parking lot --had not moved--car door open, keys in the ignition, and hood popped but no mechanic in sight. I went in the main office, greeted by a dog and after a couple of minutes a guy came out from the garage but did not know what was going on with my car when I asked. He went and got two guys from the back--one had said he had been trying to start my car for 30 minutes. They went to the garage and brought back an automatic jumper and it started up right away. They had my car done in 30 minutes. And to top it all off, the guy at the front desk was trying to blame me and arguing with me regarding my car! Very disrespectful and clearly customer service is not a high priority. My car still does not start. I have not had this problem before with my current battery. Unbelievable.

My name is Anthony Graziano, As the owner of Honest-1 Auto Care I felt it my responsibility to respond anytime any malicious untruths are said. On this day the customer had an appointment for 8:00 on Saturday and was asked to leave the vehicle with me for half the day than at that point the customer would switch vehicles with us for another appointment. The customer called three or four times before the time that was required and was explained that the vehicle was needed for an extended portion of the day. The moment in question when the vehicle was to be brought in we found that the battery to the car was dead. We opened the hood to find a 2 inch bolt sticking out of the positive terminal of the battery and jumper cables in the back seat, with 30 years experience, condition of battery plus the jumper cables in the back seat equals charging system issues. So when we brought in the vehicle I thought that it would be good customer service to perform a charging system test, at no charge, and found out the battery had a dead cell. When the customer came to pick up the vehicle I offered to price out a battery for the customer and said I could have it done within a few minutes. Customer declined even a price. Where upon leaving she kicked my dog and my greeter who is a 7 month old Basset Hound named Beau, without even offering an apology. We have a special room just for Beau in case any customer has any issues. Again as owner of Honest-1 Auto Care, customer service is my number one priority. Pleasant Hill is a small community and word of mouth gets around quickly. If there are any further questions in response to this please feel free to contact Tony at Honest-1 Auto Care to schedule a visit. Tony Graziano 5171 Maple Drive Pleasant Hill Iowa 515-266-8355
