Mexican

Well, the food is ok, but the location right on main street is great. The margaritas are good too. I actuall like the brunch or breakfast choices here the best.

Nice atmosphere, horrible food!

Your first impression is, what a great little mexican food restaurant right on the main strip in downtown Pleasanton. Has to be good right, after all, they have been around for years! A great little patio, and the three times I have been there, one of the three times there was a guitarist which made the atmosphere subperb! They have a cool bar, big screen TV's for sporting events, so it is all there, except for the food and the drinks! The food is just horrible, as I have been there three times in about a three year span and each time I left just sick, hoping of course that the next time would be better and I just got a bad dish on a bad night. Their bartender can't make a lemon drop nor a pinacolada so that also gets a thumbs down from me. The service is so-so, but really the food is what will shock you, as their tacos are very fake/Americanized, and they simply blew it on the chimichanga. How can you not know how to serve a chimichanga if you are a mexican food restaurant? The best thing I have eaten there are the beans and rice, and the cheese enchilada. Forget about anything chicken in this establishment! They don't offer shredded beef tacos either. And for that, they are also a little pricey!
