The Park Maintenance Division is a part of the Parks and Community Services Department, which is governed by the city of Pleasanton in California. The division maintains more than 35 parks and trails. It administers a street tree program and is responsible for the pruning and trimming of over 21,000 trees in parks, streets and government building grounds. The Park Maintenance Division provides edging, weeding and irrigation of nearly 65 acres of medians and right-of-way areas. The division is also responsible for the maintenance of approximately 20 miles of open space and urban trails and offers erosion control, cleaning, signage and litter abatement solutions.
