My wife and I hired Dave Farnsworth / Tri Valley Brokers for the 3rd time recently and I thought I’d share our thoughts publicly. Its rare that we due this but we thought it was important to let other prospective clients know our opinion and results we have received from Dave.
27 years ago, we sold our first home through Dave and believe me it was a much different market then. Our home sold and we were happy with the outcome but what was unusual was the unbelievable effort that was put forth by Dave Farnsworth to make it happen. We accepted a contingent offer that 4 more contingent properties tied to it. Totally unheard of today. Dave analyzed all the other contingent property’s and did his due diligence. He told us that in his opinion the offer was workable and with a little patience we would be rewarded with a great sales price. It worked! Just like Dave said it would. Very impressive! We then bought our next home through Dave and also had a wonderful experience. Smooth with no surprises. We lived in that home for the past 27 years and when it came time for us to retire and move out of the area we gave Dave a call to list our home. Dave analyzed the market and had us prepare our home so we could get top dollar. We got pre-sale inspections so that we had no last-minute surprises or renegotiation by the buyer in the middle of escrow. We made a few key updates and repairs Dave suggested and then Dave had the property professional staged and photographed. Dave then prepared the marketing and hit the MLS. The result was fantastic, mass attention from agents and the public resulted in 5 offers and a price beyond our expectations! We got 70k more than we had hoped for. One more point; When we bough our retirement home out of the area we hit a snag and it looked like we may not be able close our sale. On a hunch, I called Dave who was not part of that sale: I explained our dilemma and asked for his advice. The advice Dave gave us not only saved our deal but provided a tremendous relief to both my wife and I. Without question Dave’s 33 years of experience is priceless. Our other agent had less experience and was unable to solve the problem. Dave has our highest recommendation, He is calm professional and you will get the best result possible.

We have been very happy with Dave Farnsworth as our real estate agent. We interviewed 5 agents before making the decision to list our home with Dave. In making our decision, we had two main objectives in mind. We wanted to maximize our proceeds from the sale without compromising service. With these two objectives in mind, Dave was definitely the right choice. Not only did he help us exceed our financial goals, but he also provided very comprehensive service. I am confident that Dave helped us walk away with at least 10% more cash than we would have received with any of the other agents we interviewed.
There were a few ways in which Dave went above and beyond what we expected. First of all, we had a very aggressive schedule to coincide with upcoming family plans and the purchase of another home. He went out of his way to make our desired schedule work for us. For example, he helped us prepare our home to list on the market very quickly and scheduled an open house for us at the last minute. Secondly, we needed a certain dollar amount to make the purchase of our new home work. Dave made some sacrifices to make that happen. Finally, he presented great suggestions for us to consider about how to strategically sell our home. We appreciated how he kept us educated but allowed us to make our own decisions.
We were very pleased with the services Dave provided us, and would recommend him to any of our friends and relatives. Thanks Dave!
