We have worked with James before and although his work is good, he is awful at customer service. He doesn't appreciate the customer, won't return calls, is very hard to contact and makes working with him virtually impossible. Very frustrating dealing with him and his wife.

James is the absolute worst contractor in Amador county. He's a flake and does terrible work. If you are considering having any fence work done I highly suggest going with someone else. He is overpriced and does not keep his word. Save yourself the headache and stay away from J&B fencing!

James installed fences & gates on our 240 acre property in Amador Co. Lower Field - aka "The Canyon". Big Job, Rough Terrain, Creeks, etc. He honored the contract in a timely manner; was open minded about final odds & ends; especially working well with adjoining property owners and their needs, He kept us informed throughout the project and handled every task with great aplomb!......always liked that word,...Bob & Pam Shortridge
