Cardinal Center is a community-based nonprofit organization established in 1954. Located in Plymouth, Ind., it provides welfare services for adults and children with disabilities. It provides day services, including sheltered work, day activities and activities in the community for adults with disabilities. The center provides job-placement services and its supported living services offers training and support needed to allow individuals to live independently. The center offers nursing home program for individuals with developmental disabilities. It provides a variety of children services, such as early Head Start, first steps, Head Start, healthy families and nutrition programs for expectant mothers and children.
