Provided by YP.comWe have boarded all of our animals multiple times at Parrett. This March we boarded our cats. Got them home but Flea could not walk + proceeded to scoot across the floor. I picked him up, small dried stool (balls) 8 or 9 stuck on his hair on his backside. We proceeded to remove the mess. I called immediately spoke with Jennifer told her the problem. She talked with staff who told her my cat was agressive and stressed out. My cats are declawed in front. I asked why I wasn't called so I could get the cat some medication if needed. I was told a supervisor will review my case and get back to me. Sara called after speaking with the staff no one saw an issue with Flea and perhaps it happened on the car ride home and that because Flea was so stressed Dr feels we should take him elsewhere for future boarding. No problem! Why I would take my pets to you when you allow them to sit in stool, tell me it happened on the 10 min ride home, not even call me when one is unduly stressed.Shame on you!

Provided by YP.comI work with a small animal rescue group and we endorse Parrett and Dr. Hoffler 100%. He is absolutely wonderful with all the animals we have ever taken and their prices are as good or better than most. Working with rescued animals is a challange because we do not know the history of any previous vet care so many time Dr. Hoffler is having to think outside the box to determine the correct treatment. This is a vet who will go above and beyond for the animals. A case in point: We had taken a ferret there who was dangerously underweight and sick. After the vet tech weighed him and got his basic information she told me to let the ferret play on the floor until the doctor was ready. When Dr. Hoffler came in I bent down to pick up the ferret and he told me not to bother since it looked like the ferret was having fun. He then proceded to sit on the floor and conduct the exam there. Now how many vets do we all know who would do that? I would have to say none to maybe 1 or 2. Give this clinic and their wonderful staff a try and you won't forget it.
