I was looking for someone who could work on our slate roof. There were lots of cracks and missing slates on our house and on our garage, for many years. The roof was not walked on in decades so i was a little bit fearful for Janek to walk all over my roof..He not only wore special shoes but he so carefully caulked all of my many cracked slates, replaced all of my broken ones and even matched as best as he could the ones that were totally missing! I was so happy with not only his work but his price! I called him the next week to have him replace my back garage roof, he did and does and GREAT job!! My wife and i are now having him do a design for a deck, which we always wanted in our back yard. I am sure if you need someone you can trust to do a great job and is very nice to deal with, he, Janek, is the man and company to work with. Professional, cautious, very reasonable, extremely responsible, a family man who knows what the heck he is doing!! Trust Janek to be there, do the job right and no worrys. I am very happy that i found someone who i can trust.

We had the flat roof over our porch replaced and some flashing installed over the fascia of our roof.



Jan was prompt, friendly and communicated well. The job was well done, on time and the price was very reasonable.

It is rare to find a company these days that does really high quality work -- Jan's company is one of them! We have 250+ year old house that has slate roofing. We've had a number of companies over the years work on it... none have ever really been asked to come back. Not only haven't I felt confident of their work, but, usually, within weeks or months, that lack of quality shows through... and they just blame the house for being old (even when they are removing an old roof and starting from scratch!).



Jan is a bit on the quiet side for communication, but is completely over the top in terms of quality, attention to detail and thoroughness.



It's very rare to find a company that reports problems, but you don't feel like they are manufacturing it. ie., Jan found areas that needed work, took picture with his phone and demonstrated with the materials what the problems were.



He replaced two sections of roof with new materials (all slate) and replaced about ~40 miscellaneous slate around the house that had been damaged (some less than 2 years old and installed by idiots).



I guess the best I can say is that we've asked him back to do more work for us. And they did a great job, again!
