The food is fresh, and people are happy,service was spectacular. Duke the dog even got a bone for dessert. Prices are very reasonable.

What a disappointment. The thought of all you can eat Brazilian style steak sounded too good to be true, and it was. First, there are two buffets, one cold and one hot. The cold one had about a dozen offerings, and the hot had half a dozen. Both looked like the food had been out for a while. The buffet plate was a standard 12”, but the steak plate was only 5”, so you know what they wanted you to eat. The steak cuts were average at best, and you better like your steak “rare”. The meats are on swords that are over a charcoal fire, and the server brings them to you one at a time. Unfortunately, the meats spend so little time on the fire that the outside is brown, but the insides are rare. We asked for meats that were medium well and he just cut the outside 1/8” off. Service was uneven, as sometimes they would be bringing another cut of meat while you still had some on your 5” plate, other times you had to wait for another cut of meat. The worst part was the sauce. Every time a sword of meat was taken off the fire, a sauce was brushed over the meat. It did keep the meat moist, but it had WAY TOO MUCH SALT in it. It’s hard not to get your $20 value from an all you can eat steak restaurant, but Rio managed to leave us feeling like we didn’t get our money’s worth.
