Visited Rome Sweet Rome while on a trip to Plymouth this week. Amazing bread and pastries, not the usual run of the mill selection either. Everything was superior. I brought home a box of a selection of the cookies, our favorites were the lemon sesame biscuits, the almond nutella cookies and one I can't recall the name of, two light butter cookies sandwiched with a chocolate ganache. They even have gelato. I plan on going back on a day trip soon and will stop there to stock up.

If you like pastries, especially Italian pastries (and sandwiches) you have to go to this place! My girlfriend recommended the owner's Italian restaurant while I was on vacation in NH and it was the best I've ever had (and I'm very Italian). This place is a bakery but also has yummy focaccia bread, the big, round, loaves of crusty Italian bread, the real old-country kind. The cakes and cinnamon buns are soooo good. Lucia Traietti is a master at what she does.
