We took our kids to The Water Street Cafe for breakfast one morning. We waited a while for a seat and then ordered our breakfast. It seemed to take a bit longer than usual for our order to be ready. Unfortunately, it took a bit longer than we thought. Halfway through our meal our son needed to use the restroom. While he and I went to use the restroom, the waitress came and took his plate, even though he wasn't done, and she didn't ask if he was done with his breakfast, which he wasn't. She just came and took his plate. Didn't even ask if he was done or if we wanted it to go. Nothing came off of the bill for the full meal that we paid for that we didn't get. If our son didn't want his breakfast, that would have been a different story. He wasn't done and wasn't given a chance to finish. Talk about wanting to turn a table. We have not been back, nor will we go back. Service? They don't know the meaning of the word.
