Founded in 1969, Plymouth Community Arts Council has consistently provided arts programs to its primary service area, a community of 120, 000 that includes students of Plymouth-Canton Community Schools, the third largest school district in Michigan. The purpose of Plymouth Community Arts Council is to develop and promote the appreciation and accessibility of the arts for the benefit of all citizens in the Plymouth/Canton Community ; and in doing so, encourage and foster artistic excellence
