I went to the Plymouth, MN Fantastic Sam's on two different occasions and had terrible experiences with the manager, Angela. I will preface this by saying they don't take appointments for doing anything other than perms. I walked in and said I wanted a color, she told me she'd prefer it if I came back another time because she was alone for a couple hours. I said I wouldn't be able to. She decided to do it but after she began she got really crabby and had a very poor attitude. We didn't talk at all. After she rinsed the dye out she was combing my hari really roughly and was ripping my hair out.

When I called the next day to log a complaint, that's when I found out SHE was the manager.

After that I specifically stated that I wouldn't have her do my hair again. About a year after that, I went in for a perm. My stylist said she'd have to have the procedure approved by the manager because she wasn't sure if my hair was strong enough to hold a perm. The manager that came over to check that out was Angela. I was very worried, but thought she wouldn't possibly be dishonest about it.

Needless to say, when my perm was done, my hair was COMPLETELY fried. For several months after that, it didn't matter how much oil I put in my hair, my hair just kept falling out. Not strands. Clumps. I had beautiful long blond hair and I had to cut it very short and have been growing it out since. I know one other person that's been to this salon and she had a bad experience with the stylist. I would NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!!!

Because I was a satisfied customer of the Fantastic Sams in Blaine, when I moved to Plymouth I decided to continue going to Fantastic Sams - but the experience here was so different that I'll NEVER go back!

In a nutshell: they sold me an empty product - twice!! and though the first time might have been a mistake, the second time I'm pretty sure the manager was aware of it. Besides, she was supposed to give me a call when they would order a new product but she never did.

The people were very proffesional and helpful throughout the process of my transaction. I will definately reffer anyone if interested on importing or exporting anything.

Nice employees, good parking, but might be busy during holidays.
