Roger Johnson went out of his way to help us when we were stranded in Plymouth, NC with a broken spoke on one of our bicycles. He stayed late at his store and custom measured, threaded and cut a spoke to fit the rear wheel - he then installed it and trued the wheel properly - and even gave us a ride to and from our hotel. A true gentleman! What could have been a disaster for our trip turned into a pleasant evening chatting with Roger about his cycling adventures in Africa, Asia and Europe

All touring cyclists on the Adventure Cycling Atlantic Coast route (which goes within a block of his shop!) should stop by. He is the only cycle shop within 50 miles!
