They are great - friendly, helpful, and a very good mechanic. What more could you want? They have helped me with a garden tractor and a chainsaw.

Couldn't be happier with the Hughes team--Sandy and Tom on both lawn mower and chain saw. They are courteous, come through as promised on time and what they do--good work!

Just a note to all. the bad review was of Small Engine Technology. ownership has now change in April of 2012. the new business name is Small Engine Barn. same location new owners. so please don't let this old review reflect on Small Engine Barn.

probobly not enough space to say how bad the service is. I dropped my snowblower off in early Sept. borrowed a truck to pick it up a week later. when they said it would be done drove to mass. to pick up the truck. drove back and forth to work for a week getting 12 mpg. 75 miles every day. then they told me we are not going to work on it because we are doing lawnmowers now. Dec.1st we called them and they said we will have it done and delivered to your house at no charge because of the waite.my wife staid home for the delivery. no show, we called they said in 3 days they would deliver. no show. agine in two more ddays they would deliver, no show. Dec. 30th before a snow storm I called pissed off and told them to deliver that night or the next morning or I would subtract they cost of getting my driveway plowed from the total bill. they told me the guy that promissed to deliver it was fired and they knoew nothing about it.

I got pissed offed and told them to deliver my snowblower tonight and you are just making f#@#$%^ excuses. now they want me to call and appauligise for being so pissed off. can you imagine that no one knew about my situationn in a shop of 3 people. idon't think so. poor management and have no clue how to handle people. will never do bus. with them again
