Davidsonville Historic State Park

Site of Arkansas’s first post office, courthouse and land office. Davidsonville faded away close to 15 years after being established in 1815. A park with camping, lake and river fishing, trails, pavilions, playgrounds and picnic areas surrounds Trappers Lake. The visitor center features a replica 1820’s hunter-trapper flatboat, interactive virtual tour of the historic town, and exhibits that explore the history of Davidsonville and life on the Arkansas frontier.
