Pocahontas Area High School provides a variety of educational and extracurricular programs for students in grades 9 through 12. Its academic curriculum includes classes in various subjects, such as industrial technology, driver s education, chemistry, biology, English, social studies, business education, vocational agriculture, and family and consumer science, as well as Spanish. Pocahontas Area High School also administers music, art, speech, drama, and heath, special and physical education programs. It maintains a library media center that houses a collection of books and reference materials. The school provides opportunities for students to participate in a range of sports activities, such as basketball, wrestling and jamboree. Pocahontas Area High School is located in Pocahontas, Iowa.
