If these people treat the residents as they would their own families, they should be in jail for Domestic Violence and Neglect. There are many more Alzheimer patients than they claim and unfortunately they don't know what to do with them. It's nothing for their immature and un-enlightened staff to leave them in their own excrement and urine for 8 to 12 hours or more. They advertise RN's on staff and in the building at all times when in fact they have 2 RN;s. One is there for several hours, but nothing written in stone and the other is a phone call away. It's just too bad the RN neglects to answer the phone. The Assisted living residents that are Medicaid funded are forced to share a room with late stage Alzheimer and Dementia patients. It is the opinion of this author; If staff is unavailable, which is most of the time, the resident can help the patient. Wow! Emeritus gets a worker that pays Emeritus to work for Emeritus! What a pathetic and conscienceless racket. 1 star is too many.
