Galaxy computers are outrageously overpriced, but smile and act like they are doing you a favor while charging double what you would pay anywhere else. From the moment you place your computer in their hands they will be charging you a diagnostic fee, $35 for a desktop, and $69 for for a laptop, because that is the value of someone unscrewing the back of your computer and blowing a little air to get rid of the dust. Even if you pinpoint your problem when you first walk in the door, plan of paying that fee. I had a fan replaced, and they charged for two hours of labor, as well as $22 for the part. Galaxy computers is a local business that should be avoided.They are not willing to work with you, are more than happy to take your money. If you decide to get your computer fixed, call around to the different local computer stores and get quotes, this will save you a lot of time, money, and distress.

Worst Business Ever! They had my computer for over 3 weeks and still didn't have the part to fix it. When I told them I was coming to get my computer, they told me I not only had to pay for the part, but then tried to tell me I brought my computer to them a week after I actually had. When the boss came out, instead of trying to correct the problem or smooth things over, he was belligerent and made the situation worse. At least the salesman was trying to be helpful and he finally admitted we had brought the computer in on the correct date and not the one they [probably changed] had in their computer.
