Deceiving clerk

We thought we bought 2 TV's from Kelvin Merlin ans asked about financing he said they do it through Tempo(was OK with us Odell uses Wells Fargo etc.)Today after making almost 5 payments of $125 5x125=625 for 2 Tv's priced at $ 670 together we figured they want us to buy it out for $374...Mega ridiculous almost 50 % APR rate ???!!! Talked both to Tempo and Kevlin today noone wants to do anything to resolve the case.Contemplating small claims Kelvin insisted it was a lease etc.Who in their right mind rents TVs ? Should have bought from Fred Meyer or Bes tbuy ,- they treat you with respect and never use this scam mechanism.

Furniture and more

We have used these guys for getting our furniture for our new home. We were very happy with their service. I would definitely recommend them to my friends. I love working with local people vs the 'big box'.

Horrible service

I had them look at a tv that wasn't working. They said with parts and labor it would be $425. A new one costs $400. I looked up the part on line and it costs $50. U tube showed me how To change it. It took me about 30 minutes. It was easy. What a rip off that Merlin's is. I will never go there for anything.

Awesome doesnt explain enough

Ive been living in idaho falls last couple of years dealt with both stores.both friendly and professional knowlegable wont shop anywhere else for electronics

HE IS VERY HARD OF HEARING AND NO WAY DID HE UNDERSTAND THE NEW TECHNOLOGY. THE SALESPERSON (JESSICA) WAS PATIENT AND VERY NICE TO MY DAD. SHE TREATED HIM WITH RESPECT AND , SPOKE SLOW AND LOUD AND ACTED LIKE SHE ENJOYED HELPING HIM. SO.......IF YOU HAVE ANY DOUBTS ABOUT THE NEW HIGH TECH STUFF OUT THERE GO TO MERLINS.....THEY WILL HELP YOU UNDERSTAND.

Great Service

I really like Merlins. They are fab! I bought my sony tv from them 3 years ago and I called them and they sold me on a awesome sound system just last week. Great service I will never shop at costco again.

EXCELLENT SERVICE AND SELLS

I HAVE BEEN DOING BUISNESS WITH MERLINS TV FOR 16 YEARS. THEY HAVE DONE NOTHING BUT TREAT ME GREAT. WHAT YOU NEED TO REALIZE IS THAT THEY DON'T BUILD THE TV'S THEY DON'T BUILD THE PARTS. THEY ARE NOT THE MANUFACTOR OF ANY OF THE PRODUCTS THAT THEY SELL. THEY ARE NOT THE ONES THAT SHIP THE PARTS THEY DONT HAVE THE WAREHOUSE TO STORE EVERY PART, THEY ARE NOT THE SHIPPING COMPANY. THEY CAN'T CONTROL HOW LONG IT TAKES TO GET PARTS THEY HAVE RULES THEY FOLLOW. FOR EXAMPLE IF YOU BRING YOUR TV IN FOR THEM TO FIX . THEY ARE NOT OBLIGATED TO DELIVER IT BACK FOR FREE.THEY HAVE FORMS TO FILL OUT AND SEND BACK TO THE MANUFACTOR, IF YOU DROP IT OFF MERLINS HAS TO STATE THAT, AND WILL NOT GET PAID TO DELIVER IT BACK. I AM A BUISNESS MAN MYSELF AND I WILL CONTINUE TO DO BUISNES AT MERLINS. IT IS NOT MERLINS FAULT YOUR TV BREAKS, OR THAT IT SNOWED. THEY ARE A GREAT BUISNESS DOING GREAT BUISNESS IN POCATELLO. Best Service Ever

This store by far has the best customer service around. I was so tired of dealing with box store that don't know their product. These guys have a nice clean and respectable store. I would recommend them to anyone!!

Damn these guys have nothing but bad reviews!

Poor Service Too!

I had a horrible experience with the service center too. Couldn't even give me a price of a part over the phone. Wanted paid to look for the price in the computer. Pathetic1

Poor Customer Service

Called about snow build up on my dish. I was told to keep giving the snow time to melt off even though it was around freezing outside with no chance of sunshine whatsoever. They told me to call back in a couple hours and they'd gladly get it taken care of for me if the snow hadn't melted off. Called a couple hours later and was told it was too late in the day and too dangerous to get up and clean it off for me. I live in townhomes where I can't take care of the problem myself or I sure would have. Needless to say they left me hangin for the rest of the night. It was obvious on the phone I was getting the run around all day to avoid having to send someone over and clean it off. I love like a block from Merlin's so it would have taken 15 minutes tops for them to come and clean it off. Ridiculous.

Ditto.....poor service!

I brought my tv in to get fixed, due to a lawsuit with sony. In the lawsuit it clearly stats pick up and delivery are covered by sony. Merlins still tried to charge me $50 for delivery. I told them I would pay the delivery charge, but I wont be back to buy another TV. They waived the charge, set a time and date it would be delivered, but kept pushing it back saying they were busy...

Wow

I called about repair, the lady that anwsered the phone advised me of the fee to look at the tv and and that it was taken off the repair bill if the tv was repaired there. OK..... I was just needing the bulb so I asked if they could give me the part number and NO indeed they can't unless I buy the bulb from them, if not I can look it up on the internet, and hung up. So, I was going to buy the bulb from them, but now.... I will look it up. Good thing they don't advertise with my station, I would pull them.

poor customer service

So I was sold on a 52" flat screen. It has problems. Luckly bought the warranty so they came on got it. They say they can't find anything wrong. So they brought it back after 3 weeks of looking at the wall. Still has the same problem. They said they would check my blue ray & bring extra cables plus a digital antanna that I paid for over the phone. They showed up with the TV & that was it!... TV is still broken...If your going to spend a couple thousand dollars I do NOT recomend this place. At this point I wish I wish I would have ordered off of the internet.
