Want quality mental health care? Keep looking. I've been going to Physicians Mental Health for over a year now, and have had to go without my meds three times now due to negligence and understaffing. First of all, there are no psychiatrists here, only nurses who write prescriptions. Even so, every time I've gone by to fix a problem with the prescriptions they've written, I've had to wait at least two days until anyone could help me. I went there today to get them to fix my prescription for bipolar meds and they said nobody would be there who could help me for 7 days, and that if I needed meds sooner I should just go to the emergency room. I liked them at first because they're pretty cheap, but this is just the latest in a series of frustrating experiences where they clearly aren't concerned with patients' wellbeing. "We messed up and now you can't get the meds you need? Do without until next week or go to the emergency room." I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere if you can afford to.
