Shortly after moving to Pocola, I had requested some time with the mayor(who was never in the office) after stopping on repeated times and no calls from him months I decided to give up. I let the clerks there (very pleasant bunch)know that he never got in touch with me and they started to argue with me. I work in customer servive myself, and know the difference between a slight disagreement and an argument. Last straw is when I paid a $25 sewer bill late (was charged a $7.50 fee) and was told I need to start paying it on time. I tried to explain that I don't appreciate a 30% fee and if there was a way to avoid it I could. Will be mailing my payment from now on and looking for a home in Poteau.
