Provided by YP.comAfter our fur babies being patients here for year, I will never return to this office again.
Last night, I was about to write a very positive review of the techs and staff. Our beloved lab, Molly, passed away at home. I called the emergency number, and Gwen was very helpful in finding a tech who could meet me at the office after hours to assist me.
Unfortunately, the tech was unfamiliar with the computer system, and between the confusion with that and the office being closed, along with me being upset, I didn’t realize until this morning that we didn’t get her collar.
My husband called as soon as the office opened this morning, and was told that they would get her collar and we could come pick it up. I went by after work, but the manager wasn’t in and the receptionist couldn’t find it. I left my number and was told that the manager would call when she came back in.
Not only did the manager never bother to return my call, but she also never bothered to get our Molly’s collar and didn’t have the common decency to let us know. When I asked, she told me they were too busy. When I went in, the office was empty, and the apparently had time to post pictures on Facebook. Apparently, they were only too busy to help a patient who they could no longer profit from. I was then treated very rudely, interrupted, and spoke to in a very condescending tone when I confronted the manager about her failure to do her job and support a grieving family.
It’s a shame that the office staff is ruining the practice and reputation of a good vet, Dr. Miller.

Provided by YP.comI hate to leave a negative review, but I have to in this case, despite the fact that we were clients. Our cat showed signs of illness the evening of May 5th. I called Pocono Lake Animal Hospital Saturday night and left a message. Despite their claim on their website that their phones are answered 24 hours, no one called me back. I again called the next morning. Again, no return call. Not knowing what else to do and seeing my cat deteriorate, I took him to Barton Heights ER, where I ultimately had to put him down. I can't help but wonder if our beloved pet would still be here had my calls been returned.
I tried contacting the office to understand why my calls weren't returned. I was told the vet would get back to me. No one got back to me. I sent an email some days later which I was told would be forwarded to Dr Miller; again, no response. I am disappointed in the way this was handled, and am going to take my business elsewhere. I just hope no one else has to go through what I went through with this vet's office.
