I've used RC Burdick Engineering a few times for different projects and they have been great. I would highly recommend them.

I was refered to Burdick to get a property and topographic survey done through the a township engineer who I know personally. When I called them originally, I spoke with a secretary who took all of my information and said they would be out in 7-10 days to do the survey, and it would take about a week to have the drawings completed, but if I needed it sooner they would work with me. I said the 7-10 days was fine. Little did I know, this really meant 2-3 months. 2 weeks go by, and they hadn't come out to do the survey yet. I called them and the secretary stated she'll talk to the surveyor and call me back. Never got a call back, so I called 2 days later. She stated that we were on the schedule for the end of that week. That week come and goes, still nothing. So my husband calls, secretary said the same thing, that she'd talk to the survey and get back to him. Never got a call back. I called back almost a week later, and once again the secretary said she'd speak with the surveyor. This time she did it while I was on the phone and I heard him in the background. They agreed that they we were, yet again, on the schedule for the beginning of the next week and assured me that I would have the final drawings completed by Friday of that week. It is now Thursday, and the surveyors have yet to come. So I once again had to call them. The secretary gave me the same story that they are running behind and we are on the schedule for next Monday. This is when I lose it. I don't know any business that can tell a customer they are on the schedule 5 times, and they never are. Mind you, this survey is for a septic system and a large addition. What if my current septic was backing up for the past month and a half?! They never seemed to care. I should have went elsewhere many weeks ago, but because they kept telling me I was "on the schedule" for that week, I would hope that this was the truth. If I had called anywhere else, it would have been 2-3 weeks once again. I did not, and do not, have time for that. Thanks to this lovely company, it is likely that I will now not get my permits in time to build my foundation prior to the winter freeze, therefore delaying my entire project for months, when I am pregnant and expecting a baby in the spring and will now not have a completed home to live in.
