Kayser Layne & Clark, PLLC was formed on January 1, 2001 by C. Dallas Kayser, Bradley H. Layne and Matthew L. Clark. Prior to 2001, Brad Layne and Matthew Clark were long time associates with the firm of C. Dallas Kayser, L.C., a firm owned and operated by Dallas Kayser. The firm maintains a general law practice with an emphasis in the areas of serious personal injury and wrongful death arising from maritime/river worker incidents, defective products, industrial accidents and automobile and trucking collisions. The firm regularly practices in the fields of Social Security Disability, Insurance Disputes, Real Estate Transactions, Wills and Estates, Small Business Litigation and Transactions, Criminal Defense, and other civil litigation matters. The firm has recently expanded its practice to include employment discrimination. The attorneys are licensed and practice in all state and federal courts in the State of West Virginia. In association with out of state counsel, the firm has prosecuted cases in various other states. Recently, the firm has assisted its clients in obtaining significant settlements of claims related to the use of Vioxx, Bextra and Mirapex medications.
