The credit union goes out of their way to accommodate their members. They are required to to follow the same guidelines as any other lending institution. Courtesy calls are made on all late payments. It is the members responsibility to make their payments, not the credit union's responsibility to call and remind them. Payments shouldn't "slip" anyone's mind. I have been a member for 20 years. I have had several loans and never had a bad interaction with the credit union. I had surgery and I was unable to work for 6 weeks. During that time they allowed me to skip my payments and add them to the end of my loan without penalty. Great customer service!

BEWARE!! This "hospital" credit union says they care about their "members not profits". Don't believe it! I'm an established physician&have been a PVHMC FCU member for 10 yrs & had 5 loans paid off or in good standing.I've sat w/the CEO many times and thought we had a good "relationship".

Without warning/notice or any professional courtesy whatsoever, they REPO'd my car for being 37 DAYS LATE. When I asked to get current so I could get my car back,they informed me I would have to PAY IN FULL (over $40K)!! I am in shock, couldn't see my patients that day & now I'm stuck! All finance people and attorneys I've talked to say this HIGHLY unusual, basically unheard of...that they must be hurting for cash. BEWARE, and don't think these people have your back.I was fooled and done WRONG by these people;I don't want you to go thru what I did! Even the most cold-blooded financiers repo after 90-120 days (not 37!), warn you, and let you come current,not make you pay in full! I didn't even know I was in jeopardy;now I have to come up w/$44K or my car goes 2 auction.Unbelievable!HOSPITAL WORKERS don't be lulled into a false sense of security like I was. They will leave you unable to do your job of taking care of people, with no consideration. You are BETTER OFF GOING ELSEWHERE!!! Good luck.
