I have had it with Baer's. The customer is not given any consideration. On Tuesday, I was called that an item I ordered (I am a designer) was in and ready for delivery. As I was near the store it was ordered from I went in, spoke with the sales person and the office to arrange delivery. They were to call me today, Thursday to confirm Saturday morning delivery. They did not. They sent an email saying it would be delivered Saturday afternoon. I have two customer appointments on Saturday afternoon. They refuse to do anything about it. I don't do business that way, and I don't do business with any company who does business that way. So long Baer's - I will not subject my customers to your poor and uncooperative service.

Worst customer service I have experienced since the last time I called comcast!!!



My furniture was to be delivered yesterday between 1 and 5 pm. My fiancee would be at work during that time, so at 8:30 am yesterday I called them to give them my number number for the delivery men to call so that I could be there. I confirmed with the gentleman on the phone that he had the correct number by asking him to recite it, and he said "it was updated in the system".



Well, the entire day passes yesterday without a phone call. So this morning at 8:30 am I call again to see what happened:



BAERS: "We called (my fiancees phone number) and got no answer".



ME: "What happened to the phone number that was entered into your system yesterday?"



BAERS: "Sir we only have one phone number. Would you like to add another?"



ME: "I was told it was added yesterday. Anyways, here it is again...what time can I expect my delivery today?"



BAERS: "Oh well if you havent received a call from our delivery department, it wont be delivered today."



ME: "How could I receive a call if you JUST PUT MY NUMBER IN THE SYSTEM? I need my furniture delivered today. I have a house warming party tonight and no couch in my living room."



BAERS: "Sir, let me get with the delivery department and see if we can fix this. I will call you back shortly."



Three hours later and no call back, I decide to call them instead. I explain to them the above conversation, and am told it is my fault for calling the day of with the updated phone number information. Apparently 5 hours notice isn't enough. But what frustrates me the most is that I was told by the gentleman he updated the phone number and would pass that along to the delivery driver, and he clearly lied because when I called this morning, nothing had been done.



Now they are telling me they wont deliver today because it is too late. Had I called this morning (which I did LOL), maybe they could have done something. So it is my fault that I have an unfurnished party tonight?!?



A word of advice from a consumer products business owner, whenever we screw up, we own up and fix immediately.



Issue still unresolved!
