Have you ever wondered where the best little German-American restaurant in Florida is? Well we found this cute place called the Cypress Nook, right here in our new neighborhood in Pompano Beach. WOW! Did we get lucky! They have the best breakfast omelets ever and with a side of bratwurst, you won't be disappointed. By the way--- this family owned business is run full time by Ilse the owner which is the friendliest place to come and eat anywhere in town. Try the ham-hocks or Chicken Cordon Bleu for lunch! They also have a wonderful fields of greens salad with chicken, walnut, goat cheese and reasberry dressing. Also the red-cabbage is by far the best I've ever tried. I asked if she was ever going to bottle the red-cabbage and sell it at Publix. It's that good! Be ready to wait a bit for a table on the weekends.
