Go elsewhere. While the staff doctors seem above average and very concerned with patient satisfaction it ends there. Recently my mother had to have a long stay due to an illness. It was a very unpleasant stay for her as she was quite ill and due to work we could only visit her at night. A patient advocate was suggested in case anything came up during day hours. But this woman we spoke with was so overbearing and rude and flat out lied to us several times. And then when we called her on it became even more rude and started accusing us of being unreasonable. We lost all faith in the hospital. We took my mother to Holy Cross and what a difference. The nurses at Holy Cross did not find her difficult to deal with, her stuff no longer went missing because she "misplaced it" and communication with the family was completely open and easy going. We never felt like we were being difficult to deal with for wanting to know if she had a good or bad day and how her tests/recovery was going. It was as different as night and day. Holy Cross is a wonderful place and if you have an elderly family member that needs to be a patient go there if possible.
