Pequannock Valley Middle School is a community of learners consisting of more than 600 students in grades six through eight. Located in Pompton Plains, N.J., it is a part of the Pequannock Township School District. Students receive academic instruction in English, math, social studies and science and participate in a special cycle program, which includes reading, study skills and an introductory course in world languages. School counselors provide support in various academic and personal issues. It offers a variety of extracurricular activities, including its chess, computer, drama, French, Spanish and Latin clubs, student council, literary magazine, band, chorus and string orchestra, as well as various sports.
