Founded in 1958, Evenglow Lodge is a retirement community. It is affiliated with the United Methodist Retirement Home and is licensed by Medicare and Medicaid. Its assisted living apartments consist of bedrooms, living rooms, dining rooms and kitchens. Its apartments offer services, including towels, linens, planned transportation, emergency call system, utilities and basic maintenance. The community also operates a lifestyle program that allows residents to move into an apartment and customize the services that include housekeeping, linens, laundry, meals, medicine administration and clinic aid. Evenglow Lodge also operates a catered living program, which allows residents to stay independent by assisting them with the tasks of daily living. Located in Pontiac, Ill., the community has a health center that is a 70-bed nursing facility. Additionally, the community organizes activities, such as reading, games, exercise, cards, musical nights and dinners.
