We came across this completely by chance while looking for a quick bite to eat at lunch today; a man (I'm assuming the "Buckner" of Buckner's) mentioned they had sandwiches as well as desserts, and so we ventured inside. Not exactly what you would call "tidy", but very quaint with a lot of potential. Moving on to the sandwich; we weren't sure what to expect at first due to never having heard of this place before and the handwritten menu board and the fact that it's a dessert cafe, not a deli. Then I took a bite and all of my apprehension melted into pure happiness. Fresh flavorful ingredients, soft bread, and plenty of meat. All for $6.50.

We will see you again, Mr. Buckner. And I'm bringing friends next time!
