They are more expensive than other movers because they move very slow and than tell you they have another job and you have to pay more to have them come back out. They will damage your stuff and than not pay for the damage they admit they caused.

This moving company agreed to move us from one apartment to another. They arrived 3 1/2 hours late and told us that they had another job to get to an 2 hours. They then increased the price and we agreed to pay the new price when they said they would stay until the job was done. They started moving a piece of furniture down the stairs and had a problem getting it out. They damaged the couch and the door as they were moving. Then they told us they were not going to be able to move the items because there was not time. Took our signed contract. And left without another word about rescheduling or the damage they caused. When we tried to call them back they did not answer their phones. All of these happened after they told us the move had to be done on that particular date and could not be delayed. This day was the day after we called them initially. Therefore we spent the entire day breaking down furniture and packing boxes so they move could be done when they needed it.
