Provided by YP.comWe did not have to pay for A.C. White to move us, otherwise I would be even more angry about them, but I certainly wish we had just moved ourselves. Firstly, the women who came to pack us up complained the entire time, even though my husband and I tried to be very accomodating, offering them drinks, asking if they got to take breaks, helping them pack, etc. Secondly, they mislabeled lots of boxes. And along the way LOTS of little things got lost. Including the bed slats to our hardwood bed. That was a complete nightmare because you can't use the bed without those little pieces on the bottom. That took lots of time, money, and headaches at Lowes to fix it.
Now, to the worst part, and the part that's making me write this review. They STOLE our DVDs. I had a HUGE DVD collection, including the ENTIRE S*x and the City box set, the entire HBO's ROME series, a ton of Disney movies, and literally tons of other movies. They mislabeled the box they put them in as 'Books' which makes getting anything back for them even harder. This was probably at the very least $600 worth of DVDs. And I have a very strong feeling that they weren't lost on accident, considering they are the one item the packers could steal and probably get a large amount of money for without anyone asking too many questions.
Not only that, but my Grandmother is an artist and I have several oil paintings (landscapes) done by her. And now that we are all unpacked I realize that one of them is missing. There wasn't a missing box for it, it just didnt' show up. It's not here. And that's one piece that is irreplacable. She painted that particular one (of course they would lose that one) just for me. It is a beautiful beach scene (because she knows I like beaches) and she painted it just for me. And now I will never see it again.
So, my recommendation is that you do NOT use A.C. White Relocations unless you absolutely MUST and then put ALL of your valuable items on high value sheet. If I had known the move was going to be like this I would have FILLED that sheet up but the movers purposely had me keep the list short telling us that we could only put items that were of a irreplacable nature on it (of course I didn't think about my Grandmother's painting then, ugh). I WOULD have put almost all of my items on that sheet including the DVD collection.
We had a horrible experience with these people and it's been nothing but a headache, as I'm sure it's been for many others. I wish we had moved ourselves. I am incredibly mad about our DVD collection being STOLEN.

Provided by YP.comThis company was fine until it came to claiming the items that they damaged in the move. We went round and round with this company. We were asked to wait 3 weeks for their repair guy to come to our house and "look" at the damaged items. Then when he had time to repair it, he would repair it in our house. We had to refuse that, I mean, who wants someone they don't know repairing furniture in their brand new house? We made our claims and they argued over almost every single item. It was ridiculous. We've moved 3 times in the last 3 years (not to mention the many times before that) and can honestly say this was the worst treatment from a moving company we've ever received.
