I have been there several times, but will never go back. I've had several waiters or waitresses who were unfriendly. You ask for something and they forget to bring it, you ask someone else and they forget to bring it also. The plates and silverware were dirty and spotty. Some food was lukewarm. They don't even have Splenda on the table for your tea or coffee you have to ask for it. The food really just isn't that great. The window sills were dirty. Its just not a good place to go. I won't go back.

Wait was 1 hour. No one was busy. The waiter was rude & if the manager had any idea of what a manager does she would have fired him on the spot. Never in my 5 years of working in the food industry have I ever seen the lack of service depicted by Applebee's in poplar bluff. If Applebee's corporate HQ knew about this I hope they would fire the manager.

We were seated quickly,but everything went downhill from there. The place had only two other couples in the whole restaurant,and it took 15 minutes before our waitress showed up. It took another 40 minutesd to get our food. We sthought well, at least it has to be fresh, right. Wrong! I asked for a medium steak,it was burned,my baked potato was half raw, and my steamed vegetables were cold. If I were a chef, there is no way that I would send that food out to anyone. We would rather them had admit that the food was screwed up and wait for a new meal to be cooked. I was so disappointed that they actually tried tio serve that swill to a paying customer, so when the manager finally made an appearance and offered to cook another meal, we just got up and left.

I have never had a bad experience here. I'm unsure why the other raters knocked it so hard, honestly.

Absolutely the worst apple us I have ever visited.Poor service,sloppy servers, sent both entrees back and exited the place.
