About Westwood Baptist Academy Westwood Baptist Academy ( WBA ) offers a quality Christian education in a warm, friendly atmosphere. The purpose of this school is to give Christian training along with a solid academic foundation in the basic fundamentals of learning for the average and above-average child. Academic and spiritual standards are high with added emphasis on patriotism and character training. WBA is a member of the American Association of Christian Schools and the Missouri Association of Christian Schools, and is a ministry of Westwood Baptist Church. WBA participates in the Mid-America Association of Christian Schools ' regional events and the Missouri Christian School Athletic Association sporting events. Preschool ( K4 ) through 12th grade classes are taught in a traditional classroom setting primarily using the A Beka TMcurriculum. Each student has close, personal contact with well-qualified teachers who are prepared to give each student a thorough scholastic background. Our classrooms are bright, cheerful, and air-conditioned. WBA provides excellent academics in a caring Christian environment. Enrollment for the fall semester opens April 1, 2009. Students are enrolled as space permits. Class size is limited.
